Man charged in connection with Cockfosters machete attack

The incident happened in broad daylight outside a row of restaurants in July

A man has been charged following a violent incident in Cockfosters last month.

Eliezer Mbaki, aged 24 of Oulton Road in Tottenham, was charged with attempted wounding with intent, possession of an blade/sharp-pointed article in a public place, and affray.

Mbaki will appear at Wood Green Crown Court on Wednesday, 14th August.

The charges follow an altercation at Cockfosters Parade at 5.05pm on Monday, 8th July, during which a 24-year-old man suffered knife wound injuries. His condition was later assessed as not life threatening.

The incident outside a row of restaurants was caught on CCTV.
