Social Spider Community CIC are the publishers of the Dispatch.  We are a small social enterprise that publishes community newspapers. We don’t have shareholders or big financial backers. We are a not-for-profit organisation.

Every month we print and distribute 15,000 free copies of the paper in Enfield and publish over eighty stories to the web.

The money to write, produce and distribute Enfield Dispatch and to run the website comes from:

• Advertising in print and online
• Supporters who take out monthly subscriptions
• Donations from readers

We get an amazing amount done and are close to breaking even each month, but things are very tight.

A one-off or regular donation from you helps us to:

• Repair and replace newsstands across the borough
• Put more time into journalism
• Secure the future of the Dispatch 

All contributions make a difference for us. Our commitment is to local news, freely available for all. If you do choose to donate, we’ll send you an email every three months to update you on how things are going.
