Healthwatch Enfield is seeking people’s views on adult mental health services in the borough.

Last year the feedback group created a mental health resource guide aimed at youth, which provided essential information about wellbeing and care services available to support young people while they awaited professional therapy.

Following the positive response this guide, Healthwatch Enfield is beginning a similar project relating to adult mental health.

Stefanie Schidlowski from Healthwatch Enfield said: “With many services experiencing long wait times and limited accessibility, numerous residents find themselves feeling unsupported during crucial moments.

“To help us better understand the needs of our community, we invite you to complete a short survey about your experience with mental health services, whether it’s your own experience or someone close to you.

“Our goal is to develop a comprehensive mental health guide that bridges the gap between when support is needed and when it is received. The guide will include practical resources for well-being, information on local services, community support options, and helplines.

“Completing the survey will provide us with valuable insights to help improve and customise the guide.”
