Artists are invited to submit their ideas for brightening up Edmonton Green Shopping Centre

Edmonton Green Shopping Centre has announced an open call for local artists “to participate in an exciting mural competition”.

The initiative seeks to transform the centre’s north square and concourse areas with community-inspired artwork.

Sam Ibrahim, centre manager at Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, said: “We’re passionate about making Edmonton Green a vibrant hub that celebrates local culture and talent.

“This mural competition is about more than just amplifying our space—it’s about creating meaningful art that resonates with our community and gives local artists a platform to shine.”

Artists interested in participating are invited to submit their design concepts by Sunday, 31st August via direct message on Edmonton Green’s social media platforms.

The winning artist will receive a commission to bring their vision to life, with installation scheduled for completion by October. Artists of all backgrounds and experience levels from the local area are encouraged to participate.
