Police are appealing for information after a jewellery shop in Enfield Town was targeted by thieves.

H Samuel in Palace Gardens Shopping Centre was burgled during the early hours of Monday (17th).

The culprits were apparently able to prise open the shutters after smashing through the front door, although it remains unclear how much was stolen.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating an alleged robbery which occurred at a jewellery shop in Palace Gardens, Enfield at 2.09am on Monday, 17th November.

“No-one was injured in the incident. It is unclear what items were stolen at this stage.

“Officers from the forensic unit have examined the scene. Detectives will now conduct further enquiries, including speaking to victims and gathering CCTV footage.

“No arrests have been made. If anyone has any information relating to the incident, please contact the Met via 101, quoting 513/17Nov.”
