The free event this Thursday is aimed at helping people find work, access training and get career advice

Enfield Council is encouraging local residents to attend its latest recruitment day event this week.
Being held tomorrow (Thursday 5th) at Southbury Leisure Centre, from 10am-2pm, the free event is aimed at helping people find work, access training, and get career advice.
Run by Enfield Council, the event will bring together local employers, training providers, and support services. Attendees will be able to take part in CV workshops, get one-on-one advice, and explore opportunities in apprenticeships and skills development.
Whether someone is looking for their first job, returning to work, or hoping to improve their prospects, the event is designed to support people of all ages and backgrounds.
Enfield Recruitment Day is supported by ‘Thrive Into Work’, a council-run programme that works with local GPs to help residents who are struggling to find or manage work due to health conditions.
Council leader Ergin Erbil said: “Enfield Recruitment Day is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for work, training or career advice. Whether you’re just starting out, switching jobs, or need help with your CV, this event is for you. We’re committed to helping local people find good-quality jobs and build a better future.”
Enfield Recruitment Day is free to attend but booking is required:
