The pair were described by a detective as “predatory sex offenders” after they travelled to Oxford to meet two 15-year-old girls they’d groomed online

Two Enfield men have been jailed for child sex offences following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.
Ashley Mundee, aged 22 and of Hertford Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a child, while a jury at Oxford Crown Court found Huseyin Ninnolar, aged 23 and of Bell Lane, Enfield Wash, guilty of one count of taking indecent images of a child.
Mundee met and groomed one of the victims online. With his friend, Ninnolar, they met with the victim and her friend, both aged 15, in Oxford, on 18th July last year.
The defendants supplied the victims with drugs and alcohol before driving them to a secluded area where the offences against the two girls took place.
Thames Valley Police arrested the defendants on the day of the offences and they were charged two days later.
Mundee has been jailed for four-and-a-half years and is subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for ten years. Ninnolar has been jailed for three years and four months.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Samuel Goodsell, said: “Both Ashley Mundee and Huseyin Ninnolar are predatory sex offenders.
“They travelled to Oxfordshire for the sole purpose of meeting their victims and carrying out the offences they have been convicted of.
“It was demonstrated in court that Mundee was well aware of his victims’ ages, but despite this carried out sexual activity with the children, which Ninnolar filmed.
“I would like to commend the victims for their bravery and for placing their trust in the force.
“If you are a victim of a sexual offence or have information about sexual offences please contact Thames Valley Police. We will listen and support you.”
