Enfield man Kyle Clifford – dubbed ‘the crossbow killer’ when police were searching for him – has pleaded ‘not guilty’ to all the charges against him
An Enfield man has denied murdering three women.
Kyle Clifford, aged 26 and of Rendlesham Road, is charged with three counts of murder, false imprisonment and two counts of possession of offensive weapons.
The former Chace Community School pupil was the subject of a nearly day-long manhunt around Enfield after the bodies of Carol, Hannah and Louise Hunt, the wife and daughters of racing commentator John Hunt, were discovered at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on Tuesday, 9th July.
Clifford was eventually found at Lavender Hill Cemetery, near Hilly Fields Park, at around 5.30pm on Wednesday, 10th July, and was arrested two days later while he remained in hospital for treatment to an injury.
Clifford was charged with their murders in September and appeared via video link at Cambridge Crown Court today (Thursday 19th), where he entered ‘not guilty’ pleas to all charges.
