Pedestrian dies after being hit by van in Bullsmoor

Metropolitan Police officers are appealing for information about the fatal collision early on Friday morning

A 22-year-old man has died in hospital after being hit by a van in Bullsmoor early on Friday morning (6th).

Detectives are now appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision, which took place at around 6.18am in Turkey Street, near to the junction with the A10 Great Cambridge Road.

Metropolitan Police officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance. However, the pedestrian sadly later died in hospital.

The victim’s next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The driver stopped at the scene and has been assisting police with enquiries. No arrests have been made.

A Met Police spokesperson said:Our thoughts are with those affected by this incident and our investigation remains ongoing.

“We continue to review all footage as part of our enquiries and are now asking the public to come forward with any relevant information that could assist us.”
