All Enfield secondary schools now have at least a ‘good’ rating in the four key areas assessed by Ofsted Inspectors

Enfield Council is celebrating the performance of its secondary schools following the latest reports from Ofsted.
All Enfield secondary schools, including academies and special schools, now have at least a ‘good’ rating in the four key areas assessed by Ofsted Inspectors.
The four key areas are quality of education, personal development, behaviour and attitudes, and leadership and management.
Overall, 98% of the schools in Enfield are rated as at least ‘good’ in these four areas. While Ofsted no longer gives an official overall grade, the council says many local schools have been graded as ‘outstanding’ in two, three or four of those areas.
The latest to mark this achievement was Laurel Park School in Palmers Green, which was awarded ‘good’ in November across all subcategories.
Abdul Abdullahi, the council’s cabinet member for children’s services, said: “This is a testament to the dedicated team of our teams across our schools and academies in the borough and their commitment to providing the highest standard of education to our pupils in Enfield.
“I want to congratulate our teams, pupils and governors and thank them for playing a crucial part in ensuring every child in our borough has the best opportunity to succeed.”
Next year, Ofsted is planning to introduce a report card system for all schools.
