Dugdale Arts Centre is hosting a comedic storytelling show for adults later this month
A comedy evening that specialises in storytelling for adult audiences is coming to Dugdale Arts Centre later this month.
Tall Tales and Cocktails has been running since 2022 and promises to be “different from your typical stand-up show”. It will be arriving at the Enfield arts venue on Friday, 29th November.
Steve Mayne, who runs the show, explains: “We aim to be different from your typical stand-up show, firstly we have limited if any audience participation! No-one will be asked what they do for a living or ‘roasted’. Secondly, our acts’ sets are based around stories (mainly true) so it has more of a theatre show feel.
“We really want our audience to relax and enjoy the show.”
Tall Tales and Cocktails has been getting five-star reviews from audiences and currently has a residency at the Rosemary Branch Theatre in Islington until Christmas 2025.
