Simon Armitage will be the star attraction at Enfield Poets Literary Festival

Poet laureate Simon Armitage is the special guest performer at the Enfield Poets Literary Festival taking place this weekend.
Simon will be performing on Sunday (19th) as part of the two-day event at Forty Hall, alongside other well-known names on the UK poetry scene such as David Constantine and Caroline Bird.
The festival is described as “a celebration of words, voices and creativity in our community, bringing together established and emerging writers for readings, workshops, discussions and more”.
It is being held to mark the 25th anniversary of Enfield Poets, making the festival an extra special occasion.
As well as poetry readings from big names and local acts, there will also be workshops and exhibitions including creative writing help, an open mic and prizes.
