Two teens charged with attempted murder after 17-year-old shot in Arnos Grove

The men aged 18 and 19 have been charged following the shooting of a boy on Thursday, 9th October

Two teenagers have been charged with attempted murder after a boy was shot and critically injured following a shooting in Arnos Grove earlier this month.

Benjamin Marmah, aged 19 and of Richmond Road in Potters Bar, has been charged alongside Kitan Ojelade, aged 18 and of Creswick Court in Welwyn. Both have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 14th November.

Separately, a 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm. He has been bailed pending further investigation.

On Thursday, 9th October, police were called at 5.04pm to reports of a shooting in High Road, Arnos Grove. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a 17-year-old boy at the scene. His injuries are no longer believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The investigation remains ongoing.
