A Cockfosters hair salon has got into finals of a prestigious national business award.
Anthony Kalli from Hob Salons Cockfosters was nominated for ‘Franchisee of the Year’ at the Hairdressers Journal’s British Hairdressing Business Awards.
The winners in 17 categories including best team, outstanding customer care and sustainability will be announced on 1st July at London’s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.
Now in their 25th year, the awards aim to spotlight those “making waves” in the hairdressing business.
Hob Salons Cockfosters made themselves stand out by providing “attention-grabbing entries” and detailing the skills and experiences that played a significant part in their success to date.
Kalli said: “I’m over the moon! I’ve poured my heart and soul into reaching this point in my career. Leading this business has been a journey of growth, fuelled by the collective effort of my amazing team. I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together, not just for our business, but for our industry too.”
Jayne Lewis-Orr, executive director of the British Hairdressing Business Awards, added: “To make the shortlist for these categories, nominees need to demonstrate a forward-thinking approach to running a salon, as well as the results and reputation to back it up. The Hob Salons team should feel incredibly proud to have achieved that and finalised alongside such impressive talent.”
