Following the screening there will be an in-person Q&A session with the film’s director as well as representatives from North London Hospice
An independent film exploring the “profound journey” of a bereaved older woman is being screened in Edmonton in aid of North London Hospice.
Alba Rosa is a study of grief, as the central character Grace is struggling to come to terms with the violent death of her husband.
The film is being shown at Millfield Theatre on Thursday, 30th January, from 7.30pm.
Following the screening, there will be an in-person Q&A session featuring lead actress Nicola Wright, writer Tommy Kear, and producer Jeffrey Salkilld.
Joining them will be two representatives from North London Hospice; Brenda, who provides compassionate one-to-one support for bereaved carers, and Lyn, a skilled counsellor, and a vital member of the hospice’s Grief Café, launched last March.
Lola Morrison from North London Hospice said: “Alba Rosa is an independent feature film that delves into the profound journey of an older woman navigating grief.
“All ticket proceeds from this special event will go directly to North London Hospice, with a portion of DVD sales also being generously contributed as well.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to Verve Bee Media for spotlighting the crucial role hospices play—not only in supporting patients but also in caring for their friends, family, and carers.”
