Attempted murder charge after Enfield Highway stabbing

42-year-old charged in connection with stabbing last week

A man has been charged with attempted murder following an investigation into the stabbing of a man in Enfield Highway.

Andrew Marangos, 42, of Broadlands Avenue in Enfield, was charged on Saturday, 15th January, with attempted murder and two counts of being in possession of an offensive weapon.

He is due to appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 17th).

Police were called at 6.23pm on Tuesday, 11th January, to reports of a man found injured inside a car in Swan Way, Enfield. Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a man, aged in his 60s, with stab injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
