The Beaver Moon Festival at Forty Hall offers an “imaginative way” for visitors to discover the extraordinary animals

Forty Hall Farm in Enfield will host London’s first beaver-themed festival to coincide with November’s ‘beaver moon’.
The farm is home to Enfield’s beaver reintroduction project, managed in a partnership between Capel Manor College and Enfield Council, while November’s full moon also happens to be named after the nocturnal mammals.
The Beaver Moon Festival at Forty Hall on Saturday, 28th November offers an “imaginative way” for visitors to discover the role these extraordinary animals play in restoring landscapes and supporting nature.
The event unfolds in two separately ticketed sessions. From 12.30pm to 4.30pm, families can enjoy beaver science and folklore with farm experts and local artist and storyteller Joe Robinson. There will be creative activities, a screening of animated comedy Hoppers, a beaver fancy dress parade and a beaver moon ceremony featuring Blaise, a talking ‘beaver’.
From 5.30pm to 9.30pm, the festival takes a more eccentric turn for adults and children aged twelve and over. The evening includes folklore, a beaver-inspired felting workshop, firelight, drinks and food, and a screening of cult comedy One Hundred Beavers, presented by Enfield Fantastic Cinema.
Food and drink will be available to purchase during both sessions. The festival is presented in partnership with local artist Joe Robinson, Enfield Fantastic Cinema and Film London.
Sessions can be booked separately through TicketSource:
