Two people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation
A fire at a car dealership in Hertford Road led to two people living above it needing medical treatment.
Part of the first floor of the two-storey flats above the car dealership were destroyed by the fire on Friday night (20th).
One woman and one man were evacuated from the building before London Fire Brigade arrived. They were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by London Ambulance Service.
The brigade was called at 10.43pm, with six fire engines and around 40 firefighters bringing the blaze under control shortly after midnight. Fire crews from Edmonton, Enfield, Tottenham and Chingford fire stations were in attendance.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and due to an electrical fault with fixed installation wiring.
