Artists in Enfield are being invited to submit entries for the fourth annual Enfield Community Art Exhibition.

This year’s theme is ‘connection’, which can be interpreted by artists in their own way. All mediums are accepted, except artificial intelligence works.

Event organisers are teaming up with the Museum of Enfield, which has a 20,000 collection of artefacts and is interested to see if some artists can find connections to their work.

One artist will be chosen to have a solo exhibition in collaboration with the Museum of Enfield, while there are additional prizes worth over £1,000.

Organised by artist Selina Javaid, Enfield Community Art is a not-for-profit-event with a “mission to support the creative community”. The annual event showcases artwork selected from an open call by local hobbyists and professional artists and hosts a series of workshops that are inclusive and accessible.

Additionally, the public can enjoy live painting and artist meets.

Artists have until Tuesday, 28th April to submit their entries, for the price of £13 for up to three entries. Enfield Community Art Exhibition subsequently runs at Dugdale Arts Centre from Saturday, 30th May until Saturday, 13th June.

There will be an additional pop-up exhibition at Devonshire Square in Palmers Green, when there will be a display prints of selected artists’ work with music playing on the square, workshops, live painting and artist meet and greets.
