The line-up for next month’s event features a wide range of authors, including independently published writers

Bookworms, book lovers and readers are invited to Dugdale Arts Centre for its first-ever book festival next month.
‘For the Love of Books’ will be an opportunity to meet authors, influencers and industry professionals.
The line-up features a wide range of authors, including independently published writers such as Megan Clawson, author of Falling Hard for the Royal Guard, and Justin Myers, author of The Last Romeo.
Ticket holders will have opportunities to mingle with the authors at their stalls, purchase books and get them signed on the day.
The all-day event on Saturday, 18th April further offers interactive activities such as creating bookmarks and a book swap table, with attendees are encouraged to bring a book they have read and pick up a new one from the table.
Hosted by Mia Caven, founder of Chapters and Pages management and an indie author, the festival aims to create a community space for literacy lovers of all ages.
Chinelo Anyanwu, cabinet member for culture and inclusion, said “We are delighted to welcome all these incredible authors to Dugdale Arts Centre, the cultural hub of Enfield and into an inclusive space, to celebrate literacy.
“Whether you are an avid reader or would like to come along for a chat, For the Love of Books is created for anyone who simply loves reading and writing.
“Why not bring your friends or children along and enjoy a day of fun with people who share the same passion.”
For the Love of Books will take place on Saturday, 18th April, from 10am to 5pm at Dugdale Arts Centre in London Road, Enfield Town. To buy tickets, at £10 for adults and £5 for children:
