Enfield mayor hosting charity golf day

The event at Bush Hill Park is raising money for the mayor’s three chosen charities

The mayor of Enfield is hosting a charity day at Bush Hill Golf Club later this month.

Emma Supple was elected to the civic role by her fellow councillors at the end of May and is spending the year fundraising for three local good causes via the Mayor of Enfield’s Appeal Fund.

Cllr Supple selected substance misuse recovery service Insight Enfield Sort It!, learning disabilities charity One to One Enfield, and The Whitewebbs Museum of Transport as her three chosen charities.

On Tuesday, 28th September, starting from 8am, Cllr Supple will be hosting a day-long event at Bush Hill Golf Club where there will be a range of competitions for golfers of all abilities.

Prizes will be on offer for the winning team, nearest the pin and longest drive, in both male and female categories.

A buffet will be open to golfers and guests, plus a drinks reception with the mayor.
