Members of an Enfield children’s choir star in The Royal Variety Performance due to air on ITV this evening (Tuesday).

Young Notes Choir and students from Young Talent Academy (YTA) – both based at the newly-opened YTA Studio in Chase Side, Enfield – were invited to perform at Royal Albert Hall for the big annual entertainment extravaganza earlier this month.

The talented youngsters performed in front of the royal family and were able to meet some famous faces, including Eurovision star Sam Ryder. They helped sing a section of Three Lions alongside David Baddiel, Frank Skinner and The Lightning Seeds and were also accompanied on stage by England’s Lionesses and the cast of Disney musical The Newsies.

They were watched by very proud YTA founder, Regan O’Mahony. She said: “Our Young Notes had an amazing couple of days and made memories to last a lifetime.

“Huge thank you to Richard Forbes of R Voices choir who made this happen and was a joy to work with.”

The show airs for the first time on ITV at 8pm tonight, 20th December.
