Albany Leisure Centre now boasts a fully-refurbished cycling studio with 21 Technogym bikes

Albany Leisure Centre has unveiled its new ‘spin cycle studio’.
The sports venue in Enfield Wash now boasts a fully-refurbished cycling studio with 21 Technogym bikes and new flooring throughout, accommodating 13 group cycle classes every week.
In addition, it boasts new “sound to music” LED lighting.
The revamp cost £30,000 and was completed in just two weeks.
Sabri Ozaydin, Enfield Council’s cabinet member for environment and placemaking, said: “It’s fantastic to see this investment delivering an impressive upgrade for Albany Leisure Centre.
“The new spin studio will give residents access to high-quality equipment and an enhanced workout environment, helping more people to stay active and to enjoy their fitness journey.
“I’m delighted the refurbishment has been completed so quickly, and I want to think everyone involved for creating a space our community can be proud of.”
Albany Leisure Centre is managed by GLL/Better on behalf of the council. Vishal Karia, GLL’s partnership manager, says: “Cycle classes are very popular and our members deserve the best possible experience.
“We have already had wonderful feedback, with members telling us that the new studio is ‘awesome’ and a huge upgrade.”
