The 14-year-old victim was “forced inside” a house in Green Lanes where she was attacked

A man has been charged with ten offences including kidnap and attempted rape after an incident last week in Palmers Green.
Metropolitan Police officers were called at 7.52am on Wednesday (18th) to Green Lanes following concerns for the safety of a girl, with witnesses reporting seeing her forced inside a property.
Officers attended the address and arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of kidnap and attempted rape. The 14-year-old victim was located inside the property and taken to hospital as a precaution. She continues to be supported by specialist officers.
Antwan Martin, aged 36 and of Green Lanes in Palmers Green, was later charged with attempted rape, kidnap/false imprisonment with intent to commit a sexual offence, two counts of causing a female over 13 to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity, intentional suffocation, intentional strangulation, two counts of sexual assault on a female, assault by beating and threats to kill.
Martin appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates court last Thursday (19th) and remains in custody.
