Three children were hospitalised after the blaze on Monday morning but non-one was seriously hurt

A man has been charged with attempted murder and arson with intent to danger life following a fire in Enfield on Monday (22nd).
The top floor of a three-storey block of flats in Maybury Close, near the A10, was destroyed in the fire which started at around 5am.
Thankfully, everyone managed to safely escape largely thanks to the efforts of a resident who was awake early for a courier shift. Three children were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation but were released on the same day.
At the time no cause of the fire was given but the Metropolitan Police have now charged a man in relation to the incident.
Nathaniel Dwyer-White, aged 33 and of Chiswick Road, Edmonton, was charged with attempted murder, arson with intent to endanger life, actual bodily harm, stalking and sending threatening letters or communication.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (25th).
