Man dies in Enfield flat fire

A man has died following a flat fire in Gladbeck Way, Enfield.

Part of the second-floor flat was damaged by the blaze and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.

London Fire Brigade was called at 4.02pm on Friday (16th) and the blaze was brought under control by 7pm. Two fire engines from Enfield and Edmonton fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
