The man was rescued from the building but later succumbed to his injuries

London Fire Brigade has confirmed that a man died from injuries sustained in an Edmonton house fire last week.
The fire took hold at the property in Hennessy Road, near Claverings Industrial Estate, last Tuesday (11th) at around 4pm.
The second floor of the terraced house was destroyed by the fire. A man was rescued by firefighters from the building, before being taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. He later died in hospital.
The fire was reported to London Fire Brigade at 4.10pm and the incident was under control by 5.20pm. Three fire engines and around 20 firefighters from Holloway and Enfield fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the brigade and Metropolitan Police Service.
