Police are releasing an image of a man they want to speak to following two linked knife incidents in Edmonton.

Officers were called at 2.26pm on Saturday, 2nd March to Edmonton Shopping Centre, to reports of a man with a knife. Officers searched the area but found those involved had left prior to police arrival.

However, on viewing CCTV, officers saw the man had been stabbed in an altercation with another male who was also armed with a machete.

While they were on scene, police received another call to Hertford Road to a man with a stab injury. They established he was the man who had been stabbed at the shopping centre.

The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Enquiries to trace the other man are ongoing. Police have released an image of him (above). Anyone who has information that they believe could help police should call 101 ref CAD 3717/2 Mar.
