Police issue appeal over indecent exposure incident on Great Northern train

The incident happened between Bowes Park and Palmers Green stations on Saturday, 2nd May

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man exposed himself and masturbated on a train in North London.

At around 8.15pm on Saturday, 2nd May, a woman was on board a northbound Great Northern train between Bowes Park and Palmers Green stations when she noticed the man sat next to her had exposed his genitals.

He then began to masturbate, and the woman screamed in response. The man moved further down the train before leaving the service at Winchmore Hill Station.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward to assist their investigation. They are particularly keen to hear from the victim who was sat next to the man.

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 833 of 2 May.
