Detectives investigating the death of a man in Bowes Park have released his name

A young man who was stabbed to death in Bowes Park this week has been named as 22-year-old Emiliano Hasanpapaj.
Police were called at 11.50pm on Tuesday, 11th July to reports of a group of people fighting in Berkshire Gardens. At around the same time a man – Emiliano – attended a North London hospital with a stab wound. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he died a short time later.
A 24-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on police bail until a date in October.
Emiliano’s family are being supported by specially trained officers. Enquires by detectives from the Met’s specialist crime command are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
