Woman injured in dog attack at Enfield Wash tower block

The woman’s injuries are described by police as non life-threatening

A woman was injured this morning (Friday 5th) by a dog in a block of flats.

Emergency services were called to the tower block in Eastfield Road, Enfield Wash, shortly after 7.30am.

Metropolitan Police officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, who were able to secure the dog to prevent further harm to the public.

A police spokesperson said: “The woman was taken to hospital with an arm injury. Her condition was assessed as non life-threatening.

“The dog has been seized. Further enquiries will take place to establish the circumstances.”

No more information has yet been provided about the species of dog or who it belongs to.
