NerdVerse at Dugdale Arts Centre will “celebrate all aspects of nerd culture”
Dugdale Arts Centre is hosting “Enfield’s biggest anime and gaming event” at the end of March.
NerdVerse, organised by The Nerd Council, promises to offer an “unparalleled experience to celebrate all aspects of nerd culture” with “something for every fan to enjoy”.
Attendees can expect immersive activities, including an exclusive live experience of The Nerd Council’s podcast, gaming tournaments for players of all skills, prizes for costume play competitions delivered by leading pop-culture retailer Funko, and a workshop on how to become a Pokémon master.
The Nerd Council is the UK’s premier podcast dedicated to challenging stereotypes within the gaming community.
Chinelo Anyanwu, the council’s cabinet member for public spaces, culture and local economy, said: “We are thrilled to partner with a great inclusive platform like The Nerd Council to bring one-of-a-kind festival to Enfield.”
“NerdVerse will be more than an event, it will be an exciting space where residents in Enfield can come together and create a sense of community to celebrate their passions.”
Alongside the gaming events, a live DJ and street food will also be on offer. NerdVerse is aimed at all ages but some activities may not be suitable for children under 13.
NerdVerse takes place on Saturday 30th March at Dugdale Arts Centre. For more information and tickets:
