Fortunately no-one was badly hurt and the tattoo parlour remains “open for business”

Customers getting inked at a tattoo parlour in Southgate had a lucky escape when a car smashed into the building yesterday (Tuesday 20th) during the middle of the day.
A sports utility vehicle (SUV) ploughed into the glass shop frontage of Trojan Ink Tattoo Studio in Crown Lane at around 1.40pm.
As well as the white Hyundai SUV, a black Ford Fiesta was also involved in the smash, with both vehicles left pictured on the pavement afterwards.
Thankfully, although one person was taken to hospital as a precaution, no-one was said to be seriously hurt.
In an update posted to Instagram later, Trojan Ink owner Marina Mems said: “Thankfully, everyone is safe and well, including the driver. Nobody was hurt, and that’s what matters most!”
She added: “No matter what life throws at us, we’re still in good spirits, smiling, and open for business as usual!”
The Dispatch contacted the Metropolitan Police to ask if anyone had been arrested, but the Met declined to comment, pointing to a policy newly adopted by its press office which states that it will no longer respond to inquiries about non-fatal road traffic accidents.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said. “We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a local hospital.”
