The Southgate theatre is hosting the event as part of its 50th anniversary year

Chickenshed Theatre is organising a ‘Wonder Walk’ event this summer to help raise £40,000 for the charity as part of its 50th anniversary year.

On Sunday, 9th June hundreds of people will meet and take part in walking accessible 5km and 10km routes around the surrounding areas of the theatre in Southgate to help the charity reach its fundraising goal.

Everyone who signs up for the Wonder Walk will receive a free Chickenshed t-shirt and goody bag that they can collect beforehand or on the day.

People who sign up are being asked to raise a minimum of £100.

Online registration for the Wonder Walk closes on Wednesday 5th June but registration is also available on the day:
