It will provide an opportunity to learn about menopause, discuss women’s health, find out about local support and meet others, writes Kinga Plata
A Southgate care home is organising a free ‘menopause meetup’ event to discuss women’s health.
The organiser, Southgate Beaumont Care Home, is inviting anybody interested in taking part in the event to come along on Tuesday, 9th July, from 6.30pm-8pm.
Alongside refreshments and free goodie bags for the first 50 participants, there will be various information stalls from different professionals including GPs, nutritionists, pelvic health specialists, therapists, reflexologists and osteopaths.
The event will provide a good opportunity to learn more about menopause, discuss women’s health, find out about local support and chat to others with similar experiences.
Southgate Beaumont Care Community is part of Barchester Healthcare, an independent care provider in the UK that runs more than 250 care homes and seven registered hospitals across the country.
