Fame Jr is the first-ever licensed musical production from Young Talent Academy

Over 40 talented young performers from across Enfield are preparing to light up the stage this Easter.
Young Talent Academy, a drama and dance group based in Chase Side, Enfield, will be performing their first-ever musical Fame Jr at a theatre in Potters Bar this Easter.
This junior version of the iconic stage musical Fame is specially adapted for younger performers and audiences, making it a “brilliant, high-energy show” for the whole family to enjoy with “catchy songs and dazzling choreography”.
Fame is based on the 1980 musical film of the same name and went on to become a huge hit in the West End, with touring productions and revivals spanning over 30 years. Fame Jr captures the spirit of the original in a compact, family-friendly format.
Regan O’Mahony, YTA’s founder and creative director, shared: “This production is a huge moment for our students and for YTA as a whole. We’ve welcomed new talent into the fold alongside students from a range of YTA classes for this production — and they’ve all risen to the challenge with incredible dedication and passion.
“Fame Jr is bursting with energy, emotion, and talent, and we couldn’t be prouder of what these young performers are creating together. It’s a fantastic show and a real celebration of local youth — we can’t wait to share it with the community.”
The production will run for three performances this month at Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar on Wednesday 16th (3pm and 7pm) and Thursday 17th (7pm).
