Sharron Spice is hosting two events in Angel Edmonton this October
An Enfield author is hosting a special event to mark Black History Month in October.
Sharron Spice is an acclaimed actor, director, producer, and author from Enfield whose diverse career spans theatre, film, and commercials, with notable works including the comedy Femmetamorphosis and the memoir Kruella.
Sharron is a passionate campaigner against domestic violence and youth violence, and her efforts have been recognized by a visit to 10 Downing Street.
She is currently filming The Perils of Universal Credit, a powerful play she wrote, performed, and
directed and which highlights the challenges of the benefit system. She is also a columnist for The Guardian and continues to work with young people in London, aiming to create positive change.
During Black History Month Sharron will giving two author talks, discussing her memoir Kruella and other subjects, at Fore Street Library in Angel Edmonton. The first event takes place on Wednesday, 16th October, and the second one on Wednesday, 30th October. Both start at 5.30pm and run until 6.45pm. Drinks and nibbles will be served.
