The 2026 awards will join forces with Enfield Business Expo and local community network Sophia’s Diary

The organisers of Enfield Business Awards have announced that nominations are now open for this year’s event.
In a new twist, the 2026 awards will join forces with Enfield Business Expo and local community network Sophia’s Diary.
The expanded expo is designed to “stimulate local job creation, spark new commercial partnerships, and remind residents of the exceptional talent driving the borough forward”.
All of the Enfield Business Awards winners will be announced directly following the expo on Tuesday, 30th June, at Dugdale Arts Centre in Enfield Town.
The first edition of Enfield Business Awards took place in 2023, with the second awards held in 2024.
Ahead of the third edition, awards founder and Loving Social Media chief executive Garry Kousoulou said: “Last time we gathered, the room was filled with overwhelming emotion because running a business right now is incredibly tough.
“When a small business owner’s name is called, it validates years of sacrifice. The high street is fighting hard, and this event is about bringing sunshine, light, and focused economic support back to Enfield. We are celebrating what makes this borough brilliant.”
Embedded into the awards voting and entry forms are two “vital civic initiatives” targeting the borough’s most urgent needs.
First, businesses are being invited to pledge support for a local discount scheme specifically designed to aid over-50s and students navigating the cost-of-living crisis.
Second, organisers are collecting data to identify local employers willing to take on work experience students.
With youth unemployment rising, organisers argue that building a robust local economy “begins with providing accessible, high-quality work experience on our own doorsteps, keeping home-grown talent within the community”.
The upcoming expo event is set to be attended by the new leader of Enfield Council, Alessandro Georgiou, alongside “prominent local dignitaries”.
Organisers are urging residents to back their favourite shops, market traders, restaurants and other local businesses by casting their votes online before the final tallies are made. Alongside these standard awards, categories also include ‘favourite teacher’, ‘best charity’ and ‘lifetime achievement’, shining a spotlight on community leaders.
