The Lilywhites have brought home the Europa League trophy

Thousands of Spurs fans lined Fore Street through Edmonton on Friday (23rd) to watch the club’s Europa League victory parade.
Ange Postecoglu’s boys, who triumphed 1-0 over Manchester United in the Bilbao final on Wednesday (21st), waved to the crowds from their open-top bus emblazoned with the word ‘WINNERS’ while also showing off the big trophy.
Son Heung-min, Richarlason and James Maddison led the celebrations atop the bus, which began its route at Edmonton Green before heading through Angel Edmonton and then reaching Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Fore Street was completely closed to traffic on Friday afternoon to accommodate the victory parade.
The Europa League is Tottenham Hotspur’s first trophy since 2008 and first European triumph since 1984, long before any of the current squad were born.
