Edmonton Green Shopping Centre is offering a “vibrant calendar” of free activities for local families throughout the summer holidays
Edmonton Green Shopping Centre has announced its “captivating” sea-themed summer event series.
Launching on 25th July to coincide with the start of the school summer holidays, the programme offers a “vibrant calendar” of free activities for local families.
The events programme promises to give visitors fun, free events to keep children entertained over the summer holidays. Families are invited to embark on a journey of discovery through a range of engaging activities “designed to spark creativity, ignite imaginations, and foster a love for the ocean”.
Highlights includes an eco-conscious craft workshop on Thursday, 25th July, when aspiring artists of all ages can unleash their inner oceanographer by crafting colourful jellyfish from recycled materials. These workshops not only promote creative expression but also raise awareness about the importance of ocean conservation.
On Thursday, 8th August, a mermaid storytelling and pirate treasure hunt will captivate audiences with fun tales of underwater wonder. Meanwhile, the pirate will lead families on a thrilling treasure hunt with traditional sea shanties and a delightful reward.
And on Thursday, 22nd August, a ground-breaking VR diving experience allows visitors to explore the breathtaking beauty of 14 diverse underwater habitats, swimming alongside playful dolphins and majestic whales, all from the comfort and safety of North Square at Edmonton Green Shopping Centre! This incredible experience is entirely free of charge and requires no prior booking.
The sea-themed summer series of events promises an unforgettable summer of discovery and entertainment for families of all ages. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a curious first mate, this programme offers “something for everyone”.
