Services will be held in Enfield Town, Southgate and Edmonton Green on Sunday, 10th November
Three parades and wreath laying events will take place this year for Remembrance Sunday, Enfield Council has confirmed.
Residents are invited to attend any of the three services taking place in Enfield Town, Edmonton Green and Southgate on Sunday, 10th November.
The events will commemorate the sacrifices of those who lost their lives in the two world wars and more recent world conflicts and will remember those who gave their lives for their country.
Gina Needs, the council’s cabinet member for community cohesion and enforcement, said: “I’d like to invite all residents and the wider local community to join us to commemorate Remembrance Sunday, so we can pay our respects to those who paid the ultimate price and sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
“We owe a tremendous debt to all of the brave people who defended our country, and to the armed forces who continue to protect us today and keep us safe from conflict.”
