Livestock tickets deadline looms

Last year’s event had to be cancelled because of low ticket sales and organisers have set a deadline for this year

Music fans in Enfield are being urged to buy their tickets for Livestock Festival as soon as possible – with the event again at risk of being cancelled if not enough are sold.

Livestock, due to be held at Forty Hall Farm on Saturday, 19th July, had to be cancelled last year following low ticket sales. Organiser Paul Dengel wrote in the Dispatch in April that this year’s event was conditional on a minimum number of tickets being sold before the deadline of Wednesday, 18th June.

In an update on the Livestock website, Paul said: “Like many other grassroots festivals this year, we are facing tough financial realities. With only one month to go until our deadline of 18th June, ticket sales are behind target, and unless we reach it soon, we risk being forced to cancel this year’s event.

“We don’t want to join the growing list of cancelled festivals in 2025 – events like NASS, Towersey, Nozstock and Bluedot, which have all sadly pulled the plug due to rising costs and slow ticket sales.”

Paul said they had “worked hard” to “keep ticket prices low and bar prices fair” and that “every penny goes back into making the event happen”.

Confirmed acts for this year’s Livestock, should it go ahead, include The Kubricks, The Britpop Boys, The Vipers, The Ukulele Ska Collective, Spirit of Springsteen and Lost Chimes. If the event does end up being cancelled, any tickets bought will be fully refunded.

Standard tickets for the day-long festival cost £33, evening passes are £23, and teenagers under 18 cost £8, with children under 13 able to enter for free.
