A Nigerian-born rapper now living in Enfield will be bringing his show exploring themes of migration, identity and belonging to the Dugdale this weekend.

Benin 2 London – A Cultural Storytelling Experience is a unique live event that brings together music, storytelling, panel discussion and cultural performance to “explore the migrant experience”.

Through live performances, spoken word and “honest conversations”, Greo shares his journey from Benin City in Nigeria to Enfield, while “reflecting on identity, culture, ambition and the realities of building a new life abroad”.

Greo describes himself as a “rapper, storyteller and cultural producer” and says the idea for the show began as a “conceptual music project” which “has evolved into a live cultural experience that brings together themes of diaspora, community and heritage”.

He moved to Enfield from Nigeria in 2022. Greo said: “It is especially meaningful to present the project locally at Dugdale Arts Centre. The event is both a celebration of cultural identity and a reflection on the experiences of building a new life in London while maintaining a connection to home.”

Benin 2 London: A Cultural Storytelling Experience is being performed at the Dugdale from 4pm on Saturday (6th). For more information and to buy tickets:
